From Stokmarksnes to Narvik we followed these roads: From our stay at Børyøa in Stokmarksnes we went north on Country road 82 to Sortland. But befor we left Børøya, we stopped for a photo session near Hadsel Bridge.

After passing the bridge the road continues on the east side of Langøya, along Hadselfjord and the Sortland strait up to Sortland. Here we crossed over the strait by the Sortland Bridge to Hinnøya, where we turned south on Country road 85. This road brings us down to European route E10 near Gullesfjordbotn. (The route E10 passes through whole of Lofoten and ends in Luleå in Sveden).

We continued on this road until we reached E6 at Trældal, north of Narvik near the arm of the Ofotfjorden (Herjangsfjord) called Rombaken. The road then nearly circles Rombaken before we reach Narvik.
