Kazakhstan National Museum is situated in Nur-Sultan.
The museum has been created in the framework of the "Cultural Heritage" State Program on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. It covers the history and the culture of Kazakhstan from ancient times and up to today. The museum was opened in 2014. It has the following halls: Hall of Astana, Hall of Independent Kazakhstan, Halls of gold, Hall of ancient and medieval history, Hall of history, Hall of ethnography, Halls of the modern art.
It is a must visit site in Nur-Sultan.
