Nur-Sultan er hovedstaden i Kazakhstan. Tidligere navn på byen var Astana. Byen ble valgt til hovedstad i 1998 av president Nursultan Nazarbajev. Byen ligger ved elven Isjim.
Nur-Sultan er en moderne by ned få historiske bygninger. Navneskiftet fra Astana til Nur-Sultan ble foreslått av Qasym-Zjomart Toqajev i 2019, da han overtok som president.
