SLOVENIA - BLED
A buss brings you from Ljubljana to Bled in two hours. Bled is situated on the edge of the Triglav national park, which is the only park of this kind in Slovenia. The village Grad lies at the eastern end of the lake, and a walk on the path around the lake opens up beautiful views of the lake, the Islet, the Castle and the mountains. The lake is also used as a rowing arena, and the walk takes you by the rowing center. Tourists may rent boats and row out to the picturesque Islet in the western end of the lake, or mount the path up to Grad Castle.
