Stokmarknes is located on the northern coast of the Island Hadseløya in Nordland county. On our trip to Nordland we passed through the center of Stokmasknes and crossed over to the Island Børøya by Børøy Bridge.

Børøya is a typical dwelling area and the Vesterålen Coast Hotel lies just across the bridge. From the hotel you have a nice view of Børøysundet.

Country road 82 crosses Hadsel and B¯r¯ya and connects B¯r¯ya by the scenic Hadselbrua with Lang¯yab and Sotland by the scenic Hadselbrua.
