MALTA - VALLETTA 2017

Valetta, the capital of the island country Malta south of Sicilia, lies on the northern shore at the south-eastern part of the main island Malta. The entrance to the city from the sea is protected by heavy fortifications that indicates a troubled past. The renaissance city of Valletta has around 6000 inhabitants and is situated on the upper part of the peninsula on the western side of the entrance to the harbour.
